Biography:

"8th lunar month of 1866: he is adopted by Onoe Kikujirō II and takes the long-forgotten name of Onoe Taganojō II at the Moritaza, playing in the drama "Kōtei Kidan Rokujū Yoshū"." He died suddenly while on tour on June 26, 1899 in the city of Kanazawa.
