Biography:

This artist was active from ca. 1801 to 1815. May have been a follower of Utagawa Toyohisa and was influenced by Utamaro.

There are prints by this artist in the collections of the Minneapolis Institute of Art, the British Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. There is also a hanging scroll painting by him in the Hikaru Museum.
