This print appears to be number 11 from a series because the number in the lower left margin: 十一.


Kendall Brown has referred to Shōun as being versatile artist who could produce "moody nocturnes". While Brown was referring to print of "Crows on a Moonlit Night, that description would easily apply to this print, too.
