Physical description:

This print commemorates a performance of Soga Moyō Aigo no Wakamatsu ('Soga Brothers: Loving Care of Young Pines' - 曾我模様愛護若松) at the Nakamura Theater in Edo in the 3rd month of 1769.

In the other copies linked to above in Boston, Chicago and New York there is a signature, Shunshō ga (春章画) with a Hayashi seal, on the right side of the print. There is neither a signature nor a seal on the print in the Lyon Collection. Also, none of these linked images carries the text printed on the left side as it is here.
